(Senior) Back-End Drupal 8 Developer – Freelancer/Contractor - Full Remote

Daily rate: between 100-120 USD per day

We are urgently looking for a REMOTE (Senior) Back-End Drupal Developer for a long-term project. We are looking for freelancers/contractors, who can work 8 consecutive hours.  
All positions are long-term.  Candidates need to be able to work at least 4 hours in local time of the offshore location.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of back-end implementations of Drupal-based solutions;
• Undertake a feature gap analysis for each non-compliant website;
• Develop customized features to help support the migration of each non-compliant website;
• Provide post-migration support to each non-compliant website that have migrated;
• Address bugs and ensure our work output is of the best quality;

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
• +5 years of experience in providing assistance to design, development, implementation, and maintenance in developing Drupal 8 websites is required;
• Full exposure to both backend (and frontend development) on Drupal platforms
• Strong and demonstrable background working with Drupal 8;
• Experience building custom integrations, services, and modules within Drupal as well as integrating with APIs;
• Experience with Drupal templating using HTML5, CSS (SCSS is a bonus), and JavaScript;
• Competent with MySQL and optimising query and table performance within a Drupal platform;
• An understanding of performance within PHP and how to optimise it;
• An awareness of optimisation on the frontend such as minification, compression, and caching;
• An awareness of security and data best practices;
• Knowledge in automated testing, deployment processes, and continuous integration;
• Fluent in English;
