(Senior) Database Administrator (DBA) - Braine-l'Alleud - French/English
We are urgently looking for a Database Administrator (DBA), with experience in MS SQL Server, for one of our clients in Braine-l'Alleud. Candidates need to be fluent in French and English. This position is also open for freelancers.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Ensure the availability, security and performance of the Databases;
- Manage the production's environment;
- Manage the use of the database environments;
- Define and document the expected level of quality of the developments;
- Coordinate with the external partners;
Technical Environment:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Release 2, 2016 and Azure SQL Managed Instance
- Oracle 11g Release 2 and 12c
- IBM DB2 10
- Progress OpenEdge 11.5
Profile:
- Bachelor or master degree;
- You have 3-5 years of proven experience with Databases, SQL Server, and have enough knowledge to be able to advise on other technologies;
- Fluent in French and English, (passive) understanding of Dutch;
- Strong knowledge in Databases Environment, and at least in the following:
- Security Management;
- Save and Restore management;
- Performance management;
- Object management (schemas, tables, indexes, etc.) within the database;
