Senior Python Developer - Ispra/Italy - Also open for EU candidates

We are currently looking for a Senior Python Developer in Ispra, Italy.  Candidates need to be fluent in English.  This position is also open for freelancers.  Workpermit is required.  This position needs to be performed on-site.  Remote work is not possible.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of applications;
• Deployment of these applications on purpose-built computing infrastructure in a distributed file system environment;
• Testing of the applications for scalability and reproducibility;
• Documentation of the applications;

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
• +10 years of workexperience;
• Experience in Python with DB NOSQL and/or Big Data;
• Good level of English;
• Python Libraries;
• Hands-on GIT experience;
• Full stack Django or Flask including microservices;
• Message queue (RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka or similar)/Celery;
• Docker

Nice to have:

• Web scraping (BeautifulSoup, http2, scrapy, xml)
• Linux scripting experience with a focus on data processing utilities;
• Text processing: NLTK/spacy/gensim/TextBlob/pattern library;
• Tensorflow/PyTorch;
