Senior Java Developer - Brussels - Open for freelancers and employees - Longterm
For our customer, we are urgently looking for a Senior Java Developer in Brussels. Freelancers are welcome to apply.
Tasks and responsibilities:

- Create high standards of code in Java (80% new development of new applications and 20% maintenance of existing applications) ;
- Take responsibility for the performance and quality of software;
- Maintain and develop standards of code design, implementation, testing, and documentation ;
- Liaise and collaborate with other project stakeholders to ensure end-to-end quality ;
- Work as part of a SCRUM Team;
Profile:
- Bachelor or University degree or comparable through professional experience;
- +7 years of Java Development experience;
- Knowledge of relationel (SQL) and non-relationel databases (MongoDB).;
- Expereince with JDBC is required;
- Experience with OO design and development techniques;
- Experience with Agile development methodologies;
- Knowledge of GWT, Sencha GXT or Swing is a plus;
- Fluent in English
