For one of the Instiutions in Geneva, we are looking for a Lead Java Developer in the context of developing, implementing and monitoring a software, where you will coordinate and conduct developments in Java.  This positions is open for EU candidates.  Workpermit is provided.  

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Ensure all new developments go through an appropriate testing process and have solid release plans for hand-over to live operations and promotion;
• Coordinate and manage development teams;
• Ensure all developments are fully documented, meet high level design requirements e.g. data, customer experience, architecture, security, quality & operations, as well as regulatory & industry standards so projects are fit for purpose leaving testing & transitioning to live;
• Develop some applications or scripts when needed;
• Maintain the technical infrastructure and set up a Devops methodology;
• Ensure migration to AWS;

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
• +6 years’ experience of software development within challenging and changeable environments comprising diverse technologies;
• Excellent knowledge of Java language, SQL and databases (ideally Mysql);
• Experience with web technologies such as Javascript, CSS, HTML …;
• Good knowledge of business analysis methodologies;
• Project management skills, especially working with different teams abroad;
• Used to work with Agile approach (Scrum, Kanban …);
• Fluent English;

It would be desirable if you have experience with:

• AWS experience;
• Project management certification (Prince2);
• Rest architecture;
