Barcelona, Barcelona · Information TechnologyFor our customer in Barcelona, we are urgently looking for a Datacenter Architect based in Barcelona with + 10 years of experience in complex high available infrastructures (+500 users) at different layers (HW, Networking, Storage, Systems, Virtualization). Fluent English is a must and availability to travel for short periods of time.

- Highly qualified person able to develop enterprise architecture in line with defined strategy
- Define, assess and coordinate architecture projects, design architecture building blocks
- Design and coordinate architecture implementation
- Align and integrate multiple architectures, layers and perspectives
- Advise on architecture frameworks and methods
- Define and measure architecture indicators (maturity, implementation, etc.)
- Ensure interoperability; identify potential reuse; perform cost-benefit analyses; design service-oriented architecture
- Design and assess identity and access management, and master data management solutions
- Coordinate the technical implementations
- Perform business analysis and contribute to the functional, technical, security and testing specifications
Profile - Datacenter Architect:
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- In-depth technical knowledge of productive high availability infrastructures;
- Understanding of Data Centre infrastructure platform at different levels: Hardware management; Networking; Storage solutions; Virtualization platforms based on VMware and Data Centre replications;
- Experience in Disaster Recovery plans;
- Architectural studies and technical documentation, design and review of strategies, policies and best practices;
- Organisational skills and analytical ability;;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing purchase justifications, training users in complex topics, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting positively with upper management
- Team working ability, communication and leadership skills;
- Capability to manage small technical projects;
- Capable of producing concise technical documentation;
- Solid documentation skills;
- Problem solving in a problem management context;
- Capability to assess the impact of a change from the technical perspective;
- Capacity management of the infrastructure used for the technological domain;
- Provide technical lead for concerned technological domains;
- Knowledge of best practice framework for Service and Project Management (Prince2, PMP, ITIL);
